Solution: Created & ran Quality Circles with all contractors, sharing issues, implications & cost – creating relationships & collaboration to share better scheduling & facilitate right first time implementations.
Result: Cost reduction & quality improvements, to levels where Circles were requested by other Construction companies/projects.

Solution: Worked with suppliers to facilitate standardised & value-engineered specifications, & volume builds, as well as ‘production line’ focus.
Result: c50% cost reduction from specification changes, forecasting & volumes, & standardised products, plus quality & time improvements.

Solution: Drew together the business team representatives, facilitated planning workshops which focused on creating a cost/benefit & value add relaunch review, including resources, costs, specific uplift opportunities.
Result: Collection re-brand re-focused on business case, resources & timings, not simply desire to re-launch.

Solution: Engaged director to establish & communicate clear strategy, identify organisational structure to simplify & support desired delivery. Created focus on objectives from top down, to accelerate access to saving across the supply chain within a top-down approach. Rather than a lengthy 1:1 opporunity identification & implementation approach.
Result: Divisional strategy clear, supporting organisational structure, focused objectives & performance management, to naturally cascade cost reduction from a pyramid approach of a few to the many suppliers in supply chain.

Identified issues around ownership & resolution of everyday issues. Issues raised on repeat to leadership, when many could be resolved at source.
Solution: Created a 3-hour workshop on building a continuous improvement culture. Addressed understanding different personality types, assumptions & cognitive bias’, effective communication, & how to identify, evaluate, capture & embed continuous improvement opportunities at source.
Result: Easy to use tools, better sense of team & understanding of each other’s ways of working, clear handover of responsibility from leadership to empowered & equipped teams.

Solution: Identified strategy, translated into key elements & director level objectives, created internal communications framework of: all-hands, teams, sub-teams, to facilitate objectives cascade. Created ongoing 360 communication where teams identify topic updates needed to excel in role. Up-skilled leaders on team objectives & performance management. Introduced ‘call outs’ for desired behaviour & results.

Uncoordinated approach to on-boarding new hires. In equipment, role spec, key stakeholders, induction process & start up objectives.
Solution: Established a ‘systems, process & information capture’ team. Built a simple process on mandatory & essential elements, engaged an ‘owner’. Ensured new recruits were equipped & set up to meet key stakeholders & receive start up objectives/context within days of starting. Up-skilled leaders with simple skills & process awareness for engagement.
Result: A platform to springboard into role & improve ‘time to results’ within on-boarding process. Also provided robust information for transfer out of probationary period.
